Fit Your Dog’s Collar or Harness
Make sure your dog is wearing a secure and properly fitted collar or harness before attaching the leash.
The collar or harness should fit comfortably while being secure enough that your dog cannot easily slip out.
For dogs that pull strongly, a properly fitted walking harness may provide better control.

Attach the Leash
Open the metal clip and attach it to the designated D-ring on your dog’s collar or harness.
Release the clip and gently pull on it to confirm that it is completely closed.
Never begin walking until the clip is securely connected.

Hold the Handle Securely
Place your hand through the ergonomic handle and maintain a comfortable but secure grip.
Do not wrap the leash tape around your hand, fingers, wrist, arm, or any other part of your body.

Use the control button to unlock the leash.

Allow More Freedom in Open Areas
In a safe and open area, release the lock and allow the leash to extend gradually.
Always maintain awareness of your surroundings and your dog’s direction of travel.
Do not allow the leash to extend across bike paths, roads, sidewalks, or areas where other people may trip over it.

Retract the Leash Smoothly
As your dog walks toward you, allow the tape to retract naturally into the housing.
If you need to shorten the leash manually:
Release the brake briefly.
Move your arm toward your dog.
Press the brake.
Step backward or bring the handle toward your body.
Repeat until the desired leash length is reached.
Do not forcefully pull the tape back into the housing.

End the Walk Safely
Do not disconnect the leash until your dog is inside your home, vehicle, fenced yard, or another controlled environment.
Once disconnected, allow the leash tape to retract slowly into the housing.
Do not allow the metal clip to snap rapidly against the leash housing.
Using the Lock & Brake System
Temporary Brake
Press and hold the brake button when you need temporary control.
Release the button when you want the leash to extend or retract again.
Continuous Lock
Shorten the leash to the desired length and engage the locking mechanism.
Use this mode when you want to maintain a consistent leash length.
Unlock
Release the locking mechanism when you return to a safe open walking area.
Always practice operating the lock and brake before using the leash outdoors for the first time.
Cleaning Instructions
After Everyday Use
Wipe the outer housing with a soft damp cloth.
Remove dirt or debris from the leash tape.
Allow any moisture to dry before fully retracting the tape.
For a Dirtier Leash
Extend the leash tape.
Lock it in position.
Gently wipe the tape with warm water and mild soap.
Remove excess soap with a damp cloth.
Allow the tape to air dry completely.
Retract it only after it is fully dry.
Do Not
Submerge the retractable housing in water.
Place the leash in a washing machine.
Use bleach or strong chemical cleaners.
Apply oil directly inside the housing unless specifically recommended for the product.
Expose the leash to excessive heat.
Store the leash while the tape is wet.
