How to Use
-
Allow Your Pet to Inspect the Brush
Before the first grooming session, allow your pet to smell and examine the brush. This can help your pet become more comfortable with the new grooming tool.
-
Check the Coat
Make sure your pet’s coat is dry and free from large knots, burrs, wounds, or irritated areas. Severe tangles should be carefully loosened before using the brush.
-
Begin With Gentle Strokes
Hold the brush securely and gently move it in the natural direction of hair growth.
Begin with short, light strokes on areas your pet is comfortable having touched, such as the back or shoulders.
-
Brush One Area at a Time
Slowly work through the coat in small sections. Avoid repeatedly brushing the same area for too long, as this may cause skin irritation.
-
Use Less Pressure on Sensitive Areas
Apply very light pressure when brushing around the chest, stomach, legs, tail, neck, and other sensitive areas.
Do not use the brush directly on the face, eyes, ears, paws, or genital area.
-
Remove Collected Hair
After grooming, hold the brush over a trash can.
Press the self-cleaning button to retract the bristles and push the collected fur toward the surface.
Lift the hair away and discard it.
-
Reward Your Pet
Give your pet praise, affection, or a small treat after grooming. Positive reinforcement may help make future grooming sessions easier.
Recommended Grooming Frequency
Short-haired pets:
Brush approximately 1–2 times per week.
Long-haired or heavily shedding pets:
Brush approximately 3–4 times per week or as needed.
During seasonal shedding:
More frequent grooming may help control loose fur.
Grooming frequency should be adjusted based on your pet’s coat condition, skin sensitivity, and comfort level.
